Gold worked closely with California College of the Arts on the 25th Anniversary of the Barclay Simpson Award catalog and exhibition graphics. The catalog archives the Barclay Simpson MFA Award winners of the past 25 years. It is organized chronologically and each year starts off with an intro page which often includes a large quote from one of the winners. Slight page color differentiation is carried throughout, creating a distinction between the pages with artwork and the more text-driven pages. The idea of the "silver anniversary" is carried through in the silver foiled 25 on the cover, which was also transformed into a pattern for the end pages of the catalog.
